If you experience stuttering problems or are a parent of a child or teen who stutters, a speech-language pathologist, a teacher, a doctor or other professional who works to treat stuttering, you will want to take advantage of the helpful opportunities and benefits of having an NSA membership!
We consider you a NSA member if you attend a local chapter, come to a conference, workshop or youth day, or register on our web site. The basis of our organization is that people who stutter are not alone, and we want everyone who’s with us to be a part of the NSA.
We encourage you to become a NSA supporter by contributing through a monthly pledge, annual contribution, or participation in one of our fund drives. Your contribution is tax-deductible. NSA supporters are people who believe in what the NSA is doing, have been helped by our programs and are “paying it forward” by contributing to our work.
There are a variety of ways to become an active supporter of the NSA at any price point. Check out our Support the NSA page for complete information.
We depend on contributors for most of our financial support. Even though the NSA is the largest support organization in the world for people who stutter, we’re a mostly volunteer nonprofit that receives no government funds and few grants.
