Notes to Listeners

Often, children and adults who stutter need to educate the people around them about how to respond when they stutter. The NSA's pamphlet Notes to Listeners can help.

This brochure outlines what to do and what to say when talking with a person who stutters. You can use this in therapy to help clients learn to advocate for themselves so they can communicate more effectively.
