Physicians Can Help People Who Stutter!

Stuttering is a communication disorder that is widely misunderstood. Speech-language pathologists, teachers, and even physicians often hold misconceptions about stuttering that can make it difficult for families to make appropriate decisions about treatment. Furthermore, the great number of available treatments can serve to increase confusion about the disorder.

Physicians can help people who stutter and their families by providing current, accurate information about stuttering and stuttering therapy. The NSA is here to help!

By following the links to the right, you can learn basic facts about stuttering, as well as up-to-date information about the nature and etiology of stuttering.
