About the event

This comprehensive stuttering workshop for speech-language pathologists (SLPs), SLP students, parents, teachers, and school administrators will offer .40 ASHA CEUs and provide practical information on how to assess and treat school-age stuttering children within an acceptance framework. This session will share evidence-based ideas and resources to address the behavioral, affective, and cognitive aspects of stuttering as well as promote a greater understanding of stuttering as a verbal diversity. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, former NBA player, will share his own story of stuttering along with speakers Dr. Michael Azios, Dr. Anne Williams, Tessa Himel, and Isabella Fiorenza.
