Guide for Supporters: How to Manage Your Donations

Thank you for supporting our mission! This guide will help you easily manage your donations, update payment methods, view your giving history, and connect with your NSA community — all from your secure Members Area.​

Logging into Your Donor Account

​

  • Enter your email and password.

  • Once logged in, go to the Members Area to access your donation tools and profile settings.

What You Can Do in the Members Area

​​My Profile

  • Update your name, contact details, and profile picture.

  • Manage visibility and login preferences.

 

Payment Methods

  • Add or update your saved card.

  • Set a default payment method for monthly giving.

 

My Giving History

  • See all one-time and recurring donations you've made.

  • Download receipts for tax purposes.

  • Track your total contributions over time.

 

My Monthly Donations

  • View and manage your recurring (ChangeMaker) donations.

  • Adjust the amount or update your payment details.

  • Cancel at any time from your dashboard.

 

My Event Registrations

  • View your past and upcoming NSA event RSVPs and tickets.

My NSA Groups

  • Access chapter or community groups you’ve joined.

  • View and join discussions, posts, and member-only content.

 

Notifications

  • Stay up to date with activity related to your posts, groups, and mentions.

 

Notification Settings

  • Choose which email alerts you’d like to receive and how often.

  • Toggle alerts for messages, reactions, forum posts, and more.

 

Exclusive Content (if available)

  • Access NSA chapter leader-only updates, member only resources or messages.

How to Manage Your Donations

 

1. Update Your Payment Method

  • Log in and go to Payment Methods.

  • Click Manage next to your saved card.

  • Update your details and click Save.

 

2. Cancel a Recurring Donation

  • Log in and go to My Monthly Donations.

  • Click Manage Subscription next to your active donation.

  • Select End Recurring Donation and confirm.

 

3. Change Your Monthly Donation Amount

  • Navigate to My Monthly Donations.

  • Click Manage Subscription.

  • Enter your new amount and click Save Changes.

 

4. View Your Donation History & Receipts

  • Go to My Giving History in the Members Area.

  • View your complete donation log.

  • Click to download receipts for your records.

 

Having trouble finding your receipts or totals?

If you're unable to access this information due to our recent system update, please contact our support team, and we’ll send a manual invoice for tax purposes.

 

Managing Donations from Our Old Website

If your recurring donation was set up before our system upgrade, you can manage it securely through Stripe.
