Heather Barboza

Heather Barboza is the mother of Julian (Juju) Barboza, who has stuttered since he first learned to speak. She also has a daughter, Liani. They live in Mount Pleasant, TX, which is known as the trailer and chicken factory capital of the world. This will be her son’s first time attending an NSA conference. Ever since he discovered that these events exist, he’s been incredibly interested. Their town is small, and resources are very limited. Fortunately, Heather has connected with several people in the stuttering community who have been incredibly supportive. Being able to attend this conference and be part of it will be such a blessing and a valuable experience for us.
