Katie Winters

Katie Winters is a certified speech-language pathologist and assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Cincinnati. She facilitates CincyStutters, a community-based participatory research group. Katie is also the director of the UC Stuttering and Social Cognition Lab and teaches graduate courses focused on stuttering. Her work is grounded in both professional expertise and personal connection as she has a family member who stutters.

Outside of her professional roles, Katie enjoys running, hiking with her dog, and renovating her home in Cincinnati.
