About the event
Imposter syndrome can hit differently when you stutter. You may feel added pressure to prove your competence or worry that people are paying more attention to how you speak than to what you have to say.
In this interactive virtual workshop, we’ll explore imposter syndrome, how it can intersect with stuttering, and practical ways to respond when self-doubt makes an appearance. Hosts Tatum, Elizabeth, and Eddie, all members of the NSA Young Adults Committee, will lead a discussion relevant to people who stutter of all ages.
You’ll leave with strategies to help you recognize your strengths, make space for your ideas, and own your seat at the table.
