About the event
Stuttering in the workplace can be a complicated and confusing journey, but it doesn't have to be. Mentorship programs help people who stutter build skills, find community, and face workplace challenges.
In this Lunch & Learn session, Ariel Sonn and Abhishek Agarwal from the NSA's WeStutter@Work program and Iain Wilkie from 50 Million Voices will discuss what workplace advocacy really looks like and why mentorship can be such a meaningful source of confidence and clarity. We will also explore why it can be hard to spark mentee participation, how to build strong mentor-mentee relationships, and how to sustain those relationships.
If you are curious about becoming a mentor, thinking about asking for a mentor or interested in how advocacy can strengthen your career, this is the place to be.
