About the event

Yes! People who stutter can successfully learn to speak a foreign language. Join us for an insightful discussion where we will share practical tips to make learning new languages enjoyable and less stressful for people who stutter. We will talk about whether one stutters more, less or the same in one or more languages.

This session will feature Angelica Bernabe, PWS, SLP, and PhD student, who speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese and is learning Dutch. Ronan Miller is a PWS and PhD Professor of Linguistics who speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. Chris Goldman is a PWS and Toastmaster who speaks English and is learning to speak Italian.
