NSA Connects With Pronounced Stuttering
Tue, May 13
|Virtual Event
Join us for an open conversation about pronounced stuttering—what it’s like, what it means, and how we can all create more comfortable, respectful, and empowering interactions.

About the event
Interacting with people who have different stuttering experiences and behaviors can raise questions—what’s the best way to show respect? Should I wait longer? Should I respond differently? What if I get it wrong? Rather than guessing, we’re giving you an opportunity to hear directly from people with a range of stuttering experiences in an upcoming NSA Connects!
Join Pamela Mertz, who stutters moderately; Nicole Kulmaczewski, an SLP and stuttering ally; Matt Mollo, who stutters more noticeably and works in the tool and die trade; and Haley Totherow, who also stutters more noticeably and works in bakery production. Here, we’ll have an open conversation about what pronounced stuttering is like and how they would like others to interact with them.
We hope you join us on Tuesday, May 13, from 8:30 to 10 PM ET!
