About the event
Stuttering is a deeply personal experience and each journey through therapy is unique. In this session, speech-language pathologists (SLPs) will hear directly from a panel of people who stutter, including students in school, college students, and individuals navigating life after graduation. Panelists will share their perspectives on stuttering, discussing their experiences with therapy, the supports that made a difference, and the challenges they encountered along the way.
The session will conclude with an open Q&A, offering SLPs the chance to ask questions and gain insights they can bring to their clinical practice.
Meet your panelists:

Katie Aronson is a junior from Los Angeles studying justice and law with minors in education and creative writing at American University. She has been involved with the NSA since she was 14 and delivered a speech at her high school graduation reflecting on her experience with stuttering.
