About the event

Join us for a Lunch and Learn session during National Stuttering Acceptance Week.

If you’ve ever walked out of speech therapy thinking, “Well... that didn’t do a thing,” you’re not alone. Many people who stutter have had complicated, frustrating, or disappointing experiences with therapy, and it raises real questions about what speech-language pathologists can and cannot offer.

In this thoughtful and honest session, we’ll explore why therapy sometimes misses the mark, what can actually be helpful, and how to advocate for support that aligns with your lived experience.

Expect practical insight, a few laughs, and a conversation that puts you, not fluency, at the center.

Whether you are a person who stutters, family member, SLP, student, or ally, you are welcome to join us.
