About the event
At first, concealing your stutter can feel like a sustainable way to survive… dodging certain sounds, reshaping your sentences, and trying to blend into the crowd. However, as time passes, the burden of hiding who you are only grows heavier. If you're still imitating fluency by outrunning your stutter, have you truly overcome it?
If this sounds familiar, we would love for you to join us in this NSA Connects on Tuesday, May 27, to explore the journey from covert stuttering to self-acceptance!
Meet our hosts:

Mandy Rodstrom is a recovering covert stutterer, speech-language pathologist, and co-chapter leader of the NSA DC Family Chapter.
