About the event
When work gets challenging, pulling yourself up by your bootstraps is definitely not the only option. In today’s fast-paced professional world, asking for accommodations isn’t a weakness; it’s a smart step toward doing your best work.
Our WeStutter@Work Committee is hosting an interactive webinar on Wednesday, March 25, at 8 PM ET to discuss what “reasonable accommodations” actually mean, how the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) protects people who stutter, and how to approach these conversations. You’ll hear from Pamela Mertz and Madison Nichols about what’s worked for them, what they’ve learned along the way, and how self-advocacy can shift workplace dynamics.
After the discussion, we’ll open the floor for questions and shared experiences. Join us for an honest conversation about asking for (and receiving) the support people who stutter deserve to grow and succeed professionally!
Meet your hosts:
Madison Nichols lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is deeply committed…
