While there is currently no cure for stuttering that works consistently, across time, for all people, there are various options that may help people who stutter. Some methods focus on promoting confident and effective communication, facilitating desensitization to stuttering, practicing mindfulness, modifying speech, and/or exploring stuttering acceptance.
