About the event
This special daytime NSA Connects session brings together international friends of the National Stuttering Association (NSA) to explore the significance of International Stuttering Awareness Day, observed worldwide on October 22 each year.
For decades, the NSA has built meaningful relationships with people who stutter around the globe. Friends from countries including Canada, Israel, and China have attended and presented at NSA Conferences, enriching our community through shared experiences and perspectives. As we continue these cross-cultural connections, we invite you to join a conversation about what stuttering awareness means in different parts of the world and the initiatives that help foster understanding and acceptance.
Hosted by longtime NSA member Pamela Mertz, this interactive discussion will feature Michele from Lebanon, Anita from Sweden, and Daniele from Canada.
